Carl brings decades of aviation and maintenance leadership to the Caddo Mills Airport Advisory Board. A retired U.S. Air Force veteran, he served as a maintenance leader and has earned recognition as the Leo Marquez Aircraft Maintenance Company Grade Manager of the Year during his tenure with the 55th Maintenance Group. His Air Force career included assignments at Fairchild AFB, Grand Forks AFB, and Offutt AFB, where he supported critical air refueling and reconnaissance missions.
In addition to his military service, Carl is an active general aviation pilot and aircraft owner. He and his family operate a Van’s RV-10 based in Texas, and he is deeply committed to promoting safe flying practices and fostering a strong aviation community.
As a member of the Airport Advisory Board, Carl will apply his extensive background in aircraft maintenance, operations, and airfield management to help guide the future of Caddo Mills Municipal Airport. His passion for aviation and commitment to service continue to make him a valuable advocate for the airport and the city.
